Cafe Bethak started as a one-day pop-up in October 2023, created by two founders who saw a gap in Chicago’s market for spaces that truly bring people together.

What began as a simple idea turned into a phenomenon: lines out the door, over 300 drinks served, and a community that showed up with incredible energy. That day proved something powerful. People were craving connection, creativity, and something real.

From that moment, Cafe Bethak grew into more than just a cafe. It became a space where culture meets community, a gathering place that celebrates creativity, comfort, and belonging for everyone.

After months of searching for the perfect spot, we opened our doors in February 2024 in Lombard, Illinois. What started as a one-day pop-up is now a full cafe where people come to celebrate milestones, host private events, and experience our signature live carts. We’ve welcomed guests from across the country who visit just to feel the warmth and energy that started it all.
